Ahhh, Spring Break is almost here!
Monday's Board of Education meeting will begin at 5:00pm in the District Office. This will allow the board members to make it to the 4th-6th grade musical. Mr. Rempel will lead the students in their version of "School Daze". The 4th and 5th grade students need to be in the regular classrooms by 6:45pm and the 6th graders will need to meet earlier to prepare for the program. The performance will begin at 7:00pm in the MES/MJH Auditorium.
Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held on Thursday evening and Friday morning. PS-6th grade students will bring home notes with a scheduled conference. Junior high parents can meet with the teachers in the DP Gym. Parents of junior high track team members need to meet in the cafeteria at 8:00pm for a meeting with the track coaches. The high school teachers will be available for conferences in the MHS Commons Area.
The After-Prom committee is looking for pinball machines and ping-pong tables to use during After-Prom. If you have any information about where any of these items can be located please contact Brenda Reimer at 620.873.2671 or 620.873.7262.
Several MHS art students will have their work exhibited at the Carnegie Arts Center High School Art Show at the Carnegie Center in Dodge City. The students include: Rance Hansen, Re'Anna Tumlinson, Parker Crum, Tiffany Mittlieder, Brandon Crum, Janeth Ornelas, Shayla Waters, Jada Hardaway, Sara Stanfill, and Kelsi Shannon. Congratulations to those those students! Their work will be on display from March 6th through April 17th.
