Events and Activities at USD 226

The students and staff at MES/MJH will celebrate Dr. Seuss Day on Monday, March 22nd. This year the students will be "going green" for Dr. Seuss Day. A day filled with activities focused on teaching students how to protect our environment has been planned. Students may wear pajamas and crazy hats to school, but remember the pajamas must meet the school dress code!
The MHS FBLA Organization will be taking a trip to Wichita this Friday, March 26, 2010. While there they will be touring Associated Advertising, Emprise Bank, An Architectural Firm, and the Intrust Arena. Students will have the opportunity to see behind the scenes of a variety of types of businesses and hear what is necessary for students to advance into these fields.
LOOKING AHEAD: The KU Choir will be performing at MHS on Tuesday, April 20th at 1:00pm in the MHS Auditorium. The public is invited to come out to enjoy a half hour of great entertainment!
***The junior high track meet scheduled for Thursday, April 1 has been moved to Tuesday, March 30th. ***

Once again the MHS Football coaching staff will be host the Southwest Kansas Football Coaching Clinic at MHS on Saturday, March 27th. There will be 5 sessions throughout the day covering 8-man and 11-man teams. Featured coaches include:
