MHS Activities Meeting for 2008-2009
Meeting Schedule for Spring 2009
Time: Meeting will be during Activity Period (12:10-12:36) on Wednesdays. Additional meetings may be held by the sponsor before or after school. If both clubs are agreeable, they may exchange dates. Inform Activity Director.
Students will be dismissed by intercom to the meeting if they are a member of that club. Other students will remain in their class for study hall or enrichment activities. Teachers are not to give new assignments during this time. Meeting Schedule for Fall 2008

Rules:
1.Membership lists are due in the office by Sept 30th.
2. Students will either remain in their 4th hour class—when they are not in the activity planned—or report to the planned activity room when dismissed.
3. Students not involved in the planned activity will report to the lunch room and be responsible for assisting lunch staff.
4. Students in the 2nd lunch will report to their 4th hour teacher. If 4th hour teacher is activity sponsor and student is not in activity—report to commons to assist lunch staff.
5. Sponsors will hold club members the entire time assigned, take attendance and send copy of minutes to the Activity Director.
6. If a teacher does not want a meeting on the scheduled meeting time, he should contact the Activity Director so he can notify the Secretary to place information on the weekly calendar and daily announcements. Clubs may exchange dates.
7. Class meetings will be conducted differently. They will be initiated by the Class Sponsor.
Class President in writing will contact the Activity Director asking for a meeting
- Once given permission, the President will contact the English teacher to set the time and date for the meeting. If more than one teacher needs to be notified, do so before the date is set up.
- Signed form is brought back to Activity Director to give to the Office to put on the weekly calendar and for Announcements.
- A form to be used is attached.
8. Officer meetings will be held before school at the discretion of the sponsor. A form to sign up will be on Mr. Ryckman’s door.
