GOOD LUCK to our MHS Forensics team!  They will be traveling to Holcomb Saturday to compete in their Regional meet.

GOOD LUCK to our MHS Skills USA club participating in the State competition in Hutchinson this week.  A total of 41 students will represent Meade in 22 different categories this year.

Our TeamWorks students will leave Sunday.  Other participants will travel to Hutchinson Monday morning.  The public is invited to watch the competitions.  "Skills USA is a partnership of students, teachers, and industry working together to ensure America has a skilled workforce."  To learn more about Skills USA visit their website at www.skillsusa.org.  

Our MES/MJH Library will host their BOGO Book Fair this week.  The book fair will be open from 8:00am until 4:00pm Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.  With a "buy one, get one" sale, this is a great opportunity for you to stock up on great books for the summer and support our school library.  

SENIOR INFORMATION: Seniors need to have their senior panel pictures to the office by the end of the day Friday.  If you have any questions please contact Mr. Moshier. 

Mrs. Harris will host an informational meeting for all those signed up to be a part of the 2017-18 Cheer Squad.  The meeting will begin at 5:30pm on Tuesday, April 18th in the MHS Commons.  Parents are encouraged to attend as well.    

MHS TENNIS NEWS: Our varsity team earned a second place finish in Cimarron on April 7th.  Andrea Dentamaro earned the first place medal in the 1S spot.  Gatlin Clawson played 2S and finished in 2nd place.  Playing 1D and finishing in 4th place were Jagger Borth and Walker Clawson.  Cooper Elliott and Caleb Enns made up our 2D team.  They finished the meet in 5th place.  Our JV team participated in the Dodge City meet on April 10th.  As a team, the Buffaloes finished in 2nd place.  Nolan Dewell played in the 1S spot and earned the second place medal.  Also earning 2nd was Steven Klassen at 2S.  Filling the 1D team were Jonathan Unruh and Caleb Enns.  They finished in 5th place.  Kendal Henson and Nathaniel Reimer finished in third place as our 2D team.  

MJH TRACK NEWS:  Tuesday of last week our MJH Track team competed in the 54 Relays at SWHJH.  Our 7th grade girls finished in second place, earning 71 points.  Our 7th grade boys earned 56 points for a 4th place finish.  Both our 8th grade teams finished in 4th place.  The girls earned 44 points, and the boys earned 36.  MJH 54 Relays Results  Thursday our teams traveled to Stanton County.  There the 7th grade girls earned 84 points to finish in 3rd place.  Our 8th grade girls also took third with 46 points as did our 8th grade boys with 55 points.  Our 7th grade boys finished in second place with 82 points.  All four teams achieved a total of 13 first place finishes. Stanton County Meet Results

MHS TRACK NEWS: Our MHS Track team competed in the SWH Divisional meet last Tuesday.  Our Lady Buffs earned a team first place finish with 97 points.  Our Buffalo team came in second with 70 points.  Devon Waters and Jaylin Stapleton swept men's and women's hurdle races, taking first place in both races.  Devon also took first in the 200m.  Corbyn Carr ran herself to a first place finish in the 400m.  Cali Keith earned first place finish in the javelin throw.  Our girls 4X100m team of Tierney Cook, Hayden Bachman, Cali Keith, and Jaylin Stapleton took first place.  Also finishing in first was our girls 4X400m team of Corbyn Carr, Hayden Bachman, Jaylin Stapleton, and Brooke Reimer.   SWH Track Meet Results  Our Buffalo Track team traveled to Elkhart for the Glenn Cunningham Relays last Thursday.  There were a total of ten teams competing, ranging from 1A to 5A in size.  Our Lady Buffaloes earned 60 points for a 6th place finish.  Our Buffaloes finished in 5th place with 40 points.  Devon Water took first in the 300m hurdles.  Jaylin Stapleton earned first place in both the 100m and 300m hurdles.  Brooke Reimer won the 800m run.  Our girls 4X400 team of Corbyn Carr, Tierney Cook, Jaylin Stapleton, and Brooke Reimer captured first place.  Glenn Cunningham Relays Results
