CONGRATULATIONS and GOOD LUCK at STATE!  Our MHS Tennis team took 3rd place at the Regional meet last weekend in Kiowa-South Barber.  Both of our doubles teams qualified for the State tournament.  Lexi Neel and Bristol Lewis qualified with their 4th place finish.  Monica Gleason and Ali Unruh earned a a spot with their 6th place finish.  Our singles players, Campbell Elliott and Rebecca Friesen, played well and gave it their all, but unfortunately were unable to make it to day two of regional action.  This year's state tournament will be held at Prairie Village, beginning Friday and lasting through Saturday.  There will be a State Send-Off for our tennis girls Thursday afternoon.  The girls will leave the high school shortly before 3:00pm and head to the grade school them out of town.  The public is invited to attend the send-off and cheer the girls on to State!

It is Fall Homecoming at MHS.  This year's theme song is "Just Five More Minutes" by Scotty McCreery.  Several of our student organizations have planned fun activities and themes for each day of the week.  Our Fall King and Queen candidates are Devon Waters & Affton Schlochtermeier, Walker Clawson & Tierney Cook, and Blaise Saucedo & Carley Wilhelm.  Serving as Kindergarten attendants are Ava Tacha, Landri Adams, Rawlin Cooley, and Chase Powell.  Thursday evening MHS will host the annual Bon Fire Pep Rally in the empty lot north of the high school.  The fun begins at dusk.  The public is invited to attend and join in the fun.  The King and Queen coronation will take place Friday evening 6:30pm, prior to the MHS vs. Stanton County football game.

MHS letter jackets make GREAT gifts.  And, we can help you make it happen! =) The letter jacket sales rep will be at MHS Tuesday evening at 5:30pm in the MHS Commons.  While you are enjoying some MHS Volleyball action you can stop by to visit with the representative and place your order.  For more information, please contact Brandon Haynes, MHS Principal.

Our MHS Volleyball will host their only home meet of the season Tuesday.  The first serves of the evening will happen at 5:00pm.  Be sure to come out to MHS to cheer our Lady Buffs to a clean sweep!

Our MJH Volleyball and Football teams will compete in their last regular season games this week.  The Lady Buffs and Buffaloes will travel to Sublette Thursday evening. Our Lady Buffs' league volleyball tournament will begin next week in Dodge City, hosted by Sacred Heart.
