January 07 - 12

CONGRATULATIONS to our 2019 Hall of Fame Inductees!  This year's inductees include the 1972 State Championship football team. They were the only team in the state that year to finish the season undefeated.  Roy and Laura Whitehead will be inducted.  Through their generosity, MHS has been able to provide financial support to our students attending post-secondary schools.  Marvin Stoll will be recognized for his outstanding basketball talents and well as his success in tennis.  Debbie Thomas, long-time MHS Librarian, will be inducted for her successful contributions to MHS as a coach and Kayette Club sponsor.  Our 1916 graduate, Margaret Wilson, will be honored as well.  In addition to being a graduate, Ms. Wilson was also a MHS principal.  She is the only Meade person to inducted into the Kansas Teachers' Hall of Fame.  We will honor these remarkable people during half time of the MHS vs. SWH basketball game, Tuesday, January 8th.
