Meade Board of Education
The Meade Local Board of Education appreciates having school district residents, staff, students and other interested persons attend its meetings. As a resident of the Meade Local School District, you have local control over your public schools. Your Meade Local School District Board of Education cordially invites you to attend board meetings and to take an active role in the educational affairs of your community.
The decisions of your elected board of education affect your child, your child’s future, your tax rate, and the well-being of your community.
There are many ways for you to participate in your schools:
- Keep informed and actively interested in your schools.
- Know your child’s teachers, principal, and curriculum.
- Correspond with or appear before the board to express your views.
- Elect the best qualified board members.
- Participate in local parents’ groups and on educational committees of various civic organizations.
