Goal:
The goal of the MHS Student Council is to be a voice of and for the student body.
Purpose
The purpose of student council is to be a governing body for the students. Representatives are to bring any concerns/ideas to the council that have been expressed to them or that they have themselves. The council will hear these concerns/ideas and discuss the item presented. If it is necessary to consider policy change in the building, the President will gather information and meet with the building Principal. The President will then report back to the council the results of those meetings. If appropriate, the council will then vote on any resolutions to school policy and/or new ideas to be considered and they will go back to the building Principal for final decisions.

Concessions during morning break
Accomplishments:
- Purple and Silver Finals Tickets
- Cell-phone policy adaptations
- Finals scheduling to include activities at the end of each semester
- Fall & Winter Homecoming festivities

*Student Council is open for any student in the high school who is elected by their class or organization to represent them on this council.
*Student Council meets the first and third Tuesday's of each month during activity period.
