Criteria for being a member:
All students are welcome to become a member of FBLA. Dues are required to be registered at the state and national level.
Goals:
Develop competent, aggressive business leadership.
Strengthen the confidence of students in themselves and their work.
Encourage members in the development of projects that contribute to the improvement of home, business, and community.
Develop character, prepare for useful citizenship, and foster patriotism.
Encourage and practice efficient money management.
Facilitate the transition from work to school.
Activities:
Students have traveled to see business in action at a marketing firm, architectural firm, bank, and the Intrust Arena. Students met with leaders from these workplaces and heard the latest information in relation to education and business in these areas.
Students organized an opportunity for seniors to work on their Christmas letters and learn how to add page borders, clip art, etc in Word.
Meeting Time:
FBLA meets the 4th Thursday of each month during activity period.
