CONGRATULATIONS to our 2021 MHS Seniors! Thank you for sharing your journey with us. We have loved watching you grow, laugh, strive through your highs and lows, and succeed at being YOU! We wish you all the best of life's blessings as you continue your journey. Our seniors will graduate on Sunday, May 16th in the MHS gym. The ceremony will begin at 3:00pm. The seniors will enjoy their last day of high school on Wednesday, May 12th. MHS will host their Academic Awards Assembly that day at 10:30am.
GOOD LUCK to our MHS State Tennis qualifier, Korben Clawson! Korben placed 4th at the Regional tournament and will advance to the State tournament this week. State will take place in Wichita this year. Play is scheduled to begin at 10:30am at Riverside Tennis Complex.
There will be three SPIAA League events this week. Our golfers compete at league Monday in Dodge City. MJH will host the league track meet Thursday, and Friday, our high school track team will travel to Greensburg for their league meet. GOOD LUCK to all our student-athletes.
The AVHS will be at MES/MJH Tuesday morning to perform student-athlete physicals. The cost of the physical is $25.00. Any student planning to participate in a KSHSAA-sponsored sport will need to have a physical on file at MES/MJH prior to the start of next year's sports season. Physicals can also be completed by your family physician at a later date. The physical form can be found at https://5il.co/s416 The 2nd-5th grade students planning to play rec football will need a physical. Any 6th-8th grade student planning to participate in any KSHSAA sports will need to have a physical completed as well.
5th - 8th Grade Concert in the AUDITORIUM: The “Concert in the Park” has been moved to the AUDITORIUM on Tuesday, May 11, will start off with hot dogs for everyone at 6:00 pm in the MES/MJH cafeteria. The concert will follow at 7:00pm with the 5th - 8th grade vocal and instrumental groups performing. It is exciting to be able to perform live again. We are looking forward to a great evening and great performances.
