TECHNOLOGY
Classrooms contain two to eight networked computers with Internet access. Each K-8th grade teacher has a 3M product in their classroom to enhance lesson delivery and allow for interactivity. The district provides teachers with the opportunities to subscribe to teaching tools such as United Streaming, Empowered Desktop, and QUIA. In addition to classroom computers, the school hosts two computer labs. Each lab is equipped with multiple software applications and Internet accessibility. One lab serves to provide the integrated learning system, Study Island. Both labs can be reserved by teachers to provide students with opportunities to use and apply technology skills. The district employs a lab assistant in the Study Island lab and a Technology Integration Specialist to assist teachers in utilizing the technology provided.
