This week ends the third term of our school year! Wow, this year is flying by quickly. Parent/Teacher Conferences are schedule for Monday, March 9th and Tuesday, March 10th from 4:00-8:00pm. Our MES teachers have shared conference information with parents through Class DoJo, so should be sure to check those messages. Mrs. McDowell has sent conference information to our junior high parents in her MJH Newsletter. Parents should check their email for those details. High school parents and guardians should reach out the Mr. Haynes for information regarding conference schedules.
Sub-state basketball continues this week. Our girls will play in the semi-final game against South Gray on Monday. The game will begin at 6:00pm in Montezuma/South Gray. The finals will be played on Saturday in Spearville. The time and opponents have yet to be determined. The boys' finals will take place on Friday in Spearville. Again, the time and opponent has yet to be determined. Please watch our district website and Facebook page for updates. Good luck to our MHS basketball teams!
The beginning of March brings the beginning of spring sports practice. This will include track and field for both our junior high and high school. Our high school students also have the opportunity to compete in golf and tennis. Our student-athletes should be in communication with their coaches in regards to practice times and expectations. Parent meetings for our spring sports are scheduled for March 24th at the high school.
MES will celebrate their February BUFFS of the Month and classrooms recognitions on Friday, March 6th at 2:25pm. Our Buffs are BOLD, UNDERSTANDING, FOCUSED, FRIENDLY, AND STUDIOUS.
