This week we celebrate Administrative Professionals Day. We are extremely grateful for the amazing ladies that keep our buildings functioning and running smoothly. Mrs. Debbie and Mrs. Cowan stay busy ensuring the MES/MJH has all their ducks in a row. Mrs. Angela and Miss June work hard every day to make sure our students and staff are on track and on time. We would be lost without our Admin Professionals!
Our 6th grade classes have been enjoying the book "Hatchet". To wrap up the story our students will participate in the culminating activity at Meade State Park. While there they will learn survival skills such as identifying plants, making fire, building shelter and more. After a picnic lunch at the lake they will return to school to enjoy a movie based on the book. Be watching for pictures of their big adventure!
Mrs. Price and her Kindergarten through 3rd grade students have been having a great time preparing for their spring concert! They are ready to offer you a night of fun and musical entertainment. Friends, family, and community members are invited to join us at MES/MJH on Tuesday evening. The concert will begin at 7:00pm. We hope to see you there!
Our Meade PTO is hosting a Mother & Son Kickball Night on Friday, April 24th. Sign-up forms have been sent home with our students. The sign-up deadline is Tuesday, April 21st, so be sure to get your team signed up soon. The fun will be had at the ball field on Rainbelt Street. Participants will be treated to hot dogs, chips, and drink. Please contact our Meade PTO for more information. Additional registration forms can be picked up at the MES/MJH Office.
There are a LOT of sports activities happening this week. Fans have the opportunity to travel as far Clafin for tennis or stay as close to home as our own Meade Golf Course. Our tennis teams will compete in Hoisington, Dodge City, and Claflin. Our junior track team will travel to Cimarron, and our high school team will be in Holcomb,. Our varsity golf team will play in Plains on Tuesday. Our JV golf team will host a tournament Thursday afternoon at Meade Golf Course. Dates and times for all events are listed below.
