Another JH track record was broken today! The 8th grade boys 4x400m relay team of Tyson Krier, Jackson Ediger, Kasyn Roberts, and Anthony Mendoza ran the race in 4:06.77. Great work boys!

Our MHS Golf Team is excited to host Regionals at Mariah Hills in Dodge City on May 18th! ⛳️🏌🏻
We are in need of volunteers to be markers for the event. As a marker, you’ll walk or ride the course with a group and keep score for the players throughout the round.

Eighth grader, Jackson Ediger breaks another school track record in Kiowa County high jumping 5' 10".

Meade JH athletes were able to participate in 4x800 meter relays for the first time last Thursday in Cimarron, thus setting official school records for the event. The girls, Kenzleigh, Erica, Ava, and Addy ran it in a time of 13:01.86 and received first. And the boys, Kasyn, Chase, Chase, and Derek ran a 11:02.33 for second.

Meade USD 226, in conjunction with the Meade Rural Health Clinic, will be offering activity physicals for the 2026-2027 school year. The physicals will be offered at a discounted rate of $25.00. The high school physicals will take place on Monday, May 4th. Our 2nd-5th grade boys and 6th grade and junior high students will have physicals on May 5th. The clinic consent form, physical form with ALL required signatures, and payment are due at the time the physical is given. All students in grades 6-11 and boys in 2nd-5th grade will receive physical packets. The packets will be sent home on Thursday or Friday of this week. Extra forms are in both the MES/MJH and MHS offices.
Please remember student-athletes must have a physical on file before participating in school sponsored athletics. Student-athletes always have the option of scheduling a physical with their primary care physician knowing the cost may exceed $25.00. You may call the Meade Rural Health Clinic or contact Derrick Dizmang or Marcy Lynn if you have any questions.
