Varsity Tennis Update: It's a clean sweep for these three at the varsity meet in South Barber. Holly and Bethany Reimer went 3-0 in #1 doubles, and Aby Dyck went 3-0 in #2 singles! Way to work girls!

We had some special morning greeters on this exciting game day. Good luck to our MJH teams as they travel to Spearville this afternoon!
Let's go BUFFS! 💜🦬

USD 226 Family: It is that time of year again when I want to remind you to be cognizant about Facebook posts and comments that advertise they will be streaming our competitions. Many of these are scams. Most show up in the comment section of one of our Facebook posts. Some will tag us or indicate they have "checked in" at Meade Buffaloes USD 226. Our school Facebook page and webpage will provide our fans with links and providers for streaming. The schools we are competing against may tag us and provide a link as well. If we are actually playing that school, and it is their verified Facebook page, then likely it is safe. However, if it is from a random person/company, has multiple (like a LOT) hashtags, has misspellings, a generic picture of the sport, or anything questionable then it is likely a scam. To my knowledge none of the schools on our schedule will charge fans to watch the streaming they provide. Please be aware of any link that asks for your money!
I try to catch all the tags and comments. I report, block, and delete them as fast as I can, but they are faster than I am and apparently have more time.
Enjoy a great 2023-24 school year, don't click on any random links, and thank you for supporting our students. We appreciate YOU!
~Stacy Cordes

ATTENTION 5th Grade Parents/Guardians and Students:
If your child is in 5th grade band, they should've brought a blue letter home last week with information about the instrument display. Due to the growing number of 5th graders interested in band (originally 12 and now 22!), I haven't quite been able to get everyone tested and make a final decision on who is playing what. Senseney will be in the MJH band room tonight (8/22) from 5:30-7:30pm and will be able to help test some students and also provide you with information on renting/purchasing an instrument. You are NOT required to rent/purchase an instrument in order for your child to participate in band, however we have a very limited amount of school instruments available for students to use. I do encourage you to come, if you are able to, and talk to myself and our Senseney reps! I should hopefully have everything finalized by Friday and will send home more info with the kids. THANK YOU!
~Ms. Boe
