
A big Buffalo THANK YOU to our lunch ladies for their delicious Thanksgiving meal they prepared for us today!


Congratulations to Harrison Bachman, Kynlee Flavin, and Holly Reimer for their participation in the District Honor Band at Dodge City Middle School on November 9. They were selected to perform with over 80 other southwest band members in a concert that afternoon. They did an excellent job of representing MJH!

Mr. Powell's fourth grade class visited the Lone Tree retirement center to introduce themselves and share some of their completed classroom activities with them.



A reminder to all: The MHS production of Oklahoma! will be next Thursday and Friday Nov 21,22. This is a CHANGE from the printed calendar. Showtime will remain 7pm on both nights NEXT WEEK. See you then!

CONGRATULATIONS to our MHS Football players on being selected to the HPL All-League teams. Cullen Lumry was selected to the 1st Team offensive line. Preston Woodruff earned recognition for defensive back on the 2nd Team. Korben Clawson also earned a spot on the 2nd Team as linebacker. GOOD WORK, Buffaloes!

MES students enjoyed the Wichita Children’s Theatre productions in Satanta this afternoon. Thank you to the Satanta Arts Council for sponsoring this fun event!

The MES first grade students dressed up in their respected professions on their career day today. Big shout out to our parents and community members who joined them. Thank-you for helping make our students day memorable!!

CONGRATULATIONS Corbyn Carr, Shelby Christensen, & Kiana Unruh! These MHS Volleyball Lady Buffs received HPL recognition. Corbyn was selected to the 1st Team and named MVP for the league. Shelby also received 1st Team honors. Kiana was selected to the 2nd Team. GOOD WORK, ladies!

MES/MJH is proud to announce our students in the 5th-8th grade earning Honors and High Honors. Congratulations!



Meade Cross Country Girls' Team takes 8th place at state. Madison Sutterfield is the 1A state runner-up. Highest finish for a girl in school history at State Cross Country.

It's time already time for our Fall Athletic Banquet! Our fall athletes and their families are invited to a taco bar meal on Tuesday, November 5th at 6:30pm in the MHS Commons. Please note the time change. Our Booster Club will provide the meat, cheese, tortillas, drinks and table service. Each athlete and family is asked to bring a side dish and/or dessert. It will be a great evening of celebrating our student-athletes and their accomplishments.

CONGRATULATIONS to our MJH Volleyball team. They went 4-0 during pool play to advance to the finals of their HPL tournament. Our Lady Buffs will take on Elkhart today at 4:00pm on the south court at SWHJH. GOOD LUCK, ladies!
