MHS will recognize our senior student-athletes and their parents Friday, February 6th at 6:00pm, just prior to the the girls' varsity basketball game. This recognition will include all our seniors participating in cheer, dance, tennis, volleyball cross country, football, basketball golf, and track. Seniors and their families (parents/guardians and siblings) will be admitted into the game at no cost. USD 226 appreciates our students and their dedication to MHS athletics.

Senior moms, dads, and seniors! Ms. Krista Walker (in conjunction with Yearbook) will host a senior photo "shoot". Wear your sports gear, bring your instrument, invite your parent or sibling into the shoot, but whatever you choose, have fun with it! This shoot is the perfect opportunity to get a shot for your senior tribute page in the yearbook. To reserve a 15-minute shoot, contact Ms. Walker (walkerk@usd226.org). The SPIAA League Basketball Tournament brackets have been set. Our boys have earned the 2 seed and will play Tuesday in Dodge City. Our girls have been seeded at 7th and will play in the play-in game against Kiowa County on Saturday in Hodgeman County. Please remember we are still under the threat of wintery weather on Saturday, so the date and times of those games may change. Updates will be posted as soon as that information has been shared.

ATTENTION Meade Basketball Fans and 8th grade parents Due to the threat of inclement weather expected in our area for Friday, we are making changes to both our junior high and high school game schedules. *Our MHS teams will play Hodgeman County on THURSDAY, January 22nd at MHS. The game times will remain the same as previously scheduled. *Our MJH teams will play Minneola on Thurdsay, January 22nd at MEADE JUNIOR HIGH. The game times have yet to be determined. We are currently working to adjust the times to cause as little conflict as possible for our athletes and fans. Those times will be posted as soon as they have been confirmed by both schools. **The 8th grade parent meeting has been postponed until futher notice. The new date and time will be announced as soon as it has been determined.
