Our 6th graders had the opportunity to learn from some of our amazing local professionals during our Mini Career Day! While they got to hear about several different careers, one of the coolest parts was realizing just how many of the SAME skills are important no matter what job you choose! Our guests talked about the importance of good work habits, showing up and being reliable, following rules, respecting confidentiality, treating people with respect, building strong relationships, being trustworthy and honest, and—of course—finding something you truly enjoy doing. 💜 A HUGE thank you to our community members who took time out of their day to share their careers, experiences, and advice with our students: 🏗️ Weston Kroth — WK Construction 🏦 Stan Shewey — Meade State Bank 🔧 Andrew Alexander & Chuck Martin — CMS 🚔 Dylan Wondra & Zero — Meade County Sheriff’s Office 🐾 🏥 Amy Meyer — Meade District Hospital We are so grateful to have community members willing to invest in our students and help them see that the choices and habits they are building today really can make a difference in where they go tomorrow! 🌟

Our MHS Dance Team will be hosting a LIttle Buffs Dance Clinic. Our LIttle Buff Dancers will enjoy a night of fun learning the dance with our high school dance team. Then, on September 11th they will have an opportunity to perform for our MHS Football fans. LIttle Buff Dancers can sign up with the registration form sent home or by using the link below. Our MHS Football parents will be hosting the concession stand and meal deal on Friday during the Football Jamboree. It will be a great night to watch our 2026 team showcase their skills and support the team.
All the proceeds will be given to the team.
