Due to the threat of severe weather, the MJH track meet scheduled for today in Greensburg has been postponed. A make-up date has not been confirmed at this time.


Liz Hawley will be a Lark next year! Congratulations to Liz and her family as she signed with Hesston College today to be an innagural member of their new weightlifting team!


Congratulations goes out to Logan Keith and his family as he signs his letter of intent with Pittsburgh State University! We wish you all the luck as you head out to run with the Gorillas next year.

** MES 3rd Grade Living Wax Museum **
You are invited!
Mrs. Keith's and Mrs. Martin's 3rd grade classes will host their annual Living Wax Museum on Wednesday, April 24th in the MES/MJH gym. The museum will be open from 11:00am-12:00pm and again from 1:30-2:30pm. Admission is free.
Our 3rd graders have been learning to conduct research, write an informative paper, and present their research. Museum visitors will have the opportunity to learn about Princess Diana, Betsy Ross, Eli Whitney, Babe Ruth, Abraham Lincoln, Rosa Parks, and more!


USD 226 will have a "late start" on Wednesday, April 24th. Teachers' in-service meetings will take place from 8:00-9:55am. School will begin at 10:15am. Our morning preschoolers will not have school that day.


MHS Powerlifting competed at the KEMFA State Powerlifting meet on Saturday. The Buffs had a great day with many personal records being set. Ashton Harjo placed 6th in the clean. Liz Hawley placed 6th in the bench, 4th in the squat, and 3rd in the clean, missing the podium for overall by just 20 lbs. Charity Powell placed 2nd in bench, 4th in squat and 2nd in the clean and placed 3rd overall.

It is time for our Kindergarten - 3rd Grade Spring Program. Please join usTuesday, April 23, at 7:00 pm in the Elementary School Auditorium for the musical play "Bugz." There's going to be a picnic and every bug is excited to go, but wait the stink bug wants to come too. Come and see what happens!
