This morning our MHS Football team enjoyed a cool morning practice and a beautiful sunrise.

MHS Volleyball Jamboree Thursday, August 24th @ Garden City Play begins at 4:00pm. Meade is the second match on. Good luck, MHS Volleyball!

ATTENTION 5th Grade Parents/Guardians and Students: If your child is in 5th grade band, they should've brought a blue letter home last week with information about the instrument display. Due to the growing number of 5th graders interested in band (originally 12 and now 22!), I haven't quite been able to get everyone tested and make a final decision on who is playing what. Senseney will be in the MJH band room tonight (8/22) from 5:30-7:30pm and will be able to help test some students and also provide you with information on renting/purchasing an instrument. You are NOT required to rent/purchase an instrument in order for your child to participate in band, however we have a very limited amount of school instruments available for students to use. I do encourage you to come, if you are able to, and talk to myself and our Senseney reps! I should hopefully have everything finalized by Friday and will send home more info with the kids. What a fantastic evening for our MES/MJH open house! It is time to kick off our 2023-24 school year in style! The MES/MJH Open House & Meet Your Teacher Night is scheduled for Monday, August 14th. We can not wait to see everyone and celebrate the beginning of another great year! (Please see the detail on the attached image.)

ATTENTION MJH & MHS Student Athletes: This year's conditioning camp starts tonight and will run through Thursday night. Camp will start at 6:30pm in the gym and will move to the practice field halfway through to try to acclimate to the heat. The camp is open to all junior high and high school athletes.

Attention coaches and athletes! The gym floors are currently being redone at the HS and GS buildings. Please stay out of the gym facilities until Monday, August 7th to allow for proper drying and curing. Thank you for your patience and we're sorry for any inconvenience this may cause!

Our high school gym floors are being refinished therefore we will NOT have morning weights tomorrow, Wednesday, August 2nd.

ATTENTION MJH & MHS Athletes: July 3rd-9th is the KSHSAA mandated moratorium week. We are not allowed to host any school athletic activities during this time. That means no weights as well. We will pick things back up on the 10th.
