Varsity Girls tennis opened up in Kiowa yesterday. Everyone took home some game wins! Number 1 Doubles Bethany Reimer and Veerle Schuch brought home some hardware, taking third. Holly Reimer took fourth in number 1S. Leah Looney and Aby Dyck played number 2 doubles, improving every match. Helen Pulkrabek played 2S for the Buffaloes. MJH Sporting Update It was a great day to be a MJH Lady Buff and Buffalo! Our Lady Buff Volleyball team went 2-1 for the night. Our A-team and C-team girls both won their matches. Our B-teams fell to the Lady Bulldogs. Our Buffalo Football team competed in a 6-man game against Ingalls and played well enough to start their season with a strong win. Meade Cross Country Parking Information: Spectators need to park in the grass lot East of the Course. The first row can park along the north fence. After that, the second row is filled with the tail end of vehicles pointed north on the painted red line. Next, the third row fills in with the front of their vehicles facing north on the painted red line. This process will repeat until there is no more room at those lines. At this point spectators can start to park in the small grass area west of the main parking area. We ask that you please follow the parking procedure so all spectators able to move in and out of the parking area in a clear and easy manner. This should ensure no one will be blocked in or out by those people arriving later during the event. **US 54 is closed from Meade to Minneola due to bridge construction. Traffic will be detoured in Minneola on US 283 south to US 160 then west on US 160 back to US 54 in Meade. The traveling public should be alert to detour signing to follow the detour route.
