Meade USD 226 schools will start at the normal time tomorrow - Thursday, Feb. 18. We have been assured from our gas supplier that they do not anticipate any gas blackouts. We want to take this time to thank our city employees for working so hard to provide electricity to our schools and the community during this critical time. If electricity would have been off for hours, many areas of our HVAC system at the high school would have been damaged along with the freezing of water lines in both buildings. The MHS vs. Minneola basketball game has been rescheduled for THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 18TH. The schedule of play, streaming, guidelines, etc. will remain the same. The first game begins at 4:00pm.

There will be NO HS BB @Minneola 2.16.21. Minneola has cancelled school and all activities for tomorrow. Reschedule efforts are being made. Information will be made available if/when it is possible.
MHS Homecoming ceremony will be available via Facebook Live on the USD 226 FB page. 7pm is the start time. Family and friends are welcome to attend in person. Masks are required inside the gym.
